Placile conventionale produse de Compania CHM – Polonia sunt placi confectionate atat din otel-inox cat si din aliaj de titan. Avantajul implanturilor din aliaj de titan consta in faptul ca titanul este biocompatibil cu organismul uman, se evita in acest fel, in special pentru persoanele care au o intoleranta la anumite substante din compozitia aliajelor din otel, riscul de infectie. De asemenea titanul este un material compatibil RMN (Rezonanta Magnetica Nucleara)
